My mom told me I am allergic to penicillin, but I use amoxicillin and have no trouble. Do I really have a penicillin allergy? Are all penicillin type meds the same regarding allergy? Is this safe for me to use? |

Many childhood rashes attributed to penicillin are not true allergy. Also many minor penicillin allergic reactions seem to go away with time. It is likely you are no longer allergic to penicillin if you ever were. Advice from a family doctor. |
