Carvedilol is really the life-changing drug for me.I was on the cardiac transplant list at OSHU before my Dr. slowly started tapering me up on carvedilol. The combination of carvedilol with lisinopril has allowed me to get out of my bed and share and play with my grandkids. It’s amazing to me that not many years ago the use of beta blockers was considered absolutely the wrong thing to do in patients with congestive heart failure. I want anyone who has CHF to convince their physician to put them on carvedilol so that you too can reap the type of benefits that I’ve found. |
