I have a recurrence of breast cancer, and have been told by my oncologist that Taxol is my best option. I know this almost always causes hair loss, and cannot face being bald again. I know wigs are good these days, but still a bald woman just can’t fit in without broadcasting that she has cancer, and it tends to dominate every human interaction. What chemo options have readers found for breast cancer that don’t cause hair loss. I’m ER positive, Stage 4. (bone and liver). |

I have experienced many of these side effects listed above from taking chemotherapy for my cancer and I consider myself a chemo superstar. These side effects are minor in the grand scheme of things in that it beats the alternative. |
