I was prescribed Lisinopril in August 2011 to counter diabetes metformin side effects and to lower blood pressure. Thanks to this and other websites, have come to learn that the following side effects may be as a result of lisinopril: Lots of hair fell out, joint pain in my right wrist, pain in my neck and shoulders which has lasted for weeks; constant sinus drainage; rapid hearbeat for a few weeks; broke out in a hive on my face. As of this week, I’m no longer taking this medication. |

I started lisinopril and metformin a week ago. I noticed my ankles were swollen yesterday and today. Both Rx were prescribed by the same dr just like you. I am stopping the meds and switching dr\’s. thanks for posting |
