I am so sick of being looked at like a criminal or addict every time I go to the doctors to get my pain medication. OxyContin worked great but I can’t find a physician to prescribe it anymore. Now I’m on MS Contin, a type of morphine, which doesn’t work as well is OxyContin but my doctor will prescribe. Does anyone know why morphine which sounds way stronger than oxycodone really doesn’t work as well? |

The problem is that you need to get a primary care doctor and stick with them. If you are seen as doctor shopping you’ll be seen as a druggie. |

I have tested all the different types of pain medications. I would say that morphine is stronger than oxycodone but they are primarily used for different purposes. Oxycodone has way more euphoric effects than morphine. Morphine is a good pain medication when not abused, as is oxycodone, but morphine is abused way less than oxycodone. I am mainly referring to oral methods of both of these medications, but do not listen to me as I really do not know that much about the differences between Oxycodone and morphine, so if you do, please respond in this forum as soon as possible. |
