I have to take lasix for CHF, and if I miss a couple of days I retain fluid terribly. I’m on other important drugs like coreg and lisinopril, but still need the lasix. My problem is my kidneys work too well. After I take just 40 mg I have to pee about every 30 minutes for 5-6 hours. I just cannot get out of the house to more than get the mail. If I take in the evening I’m up till after midnight. This essentially means I can’t work or even go to the store until afternoon. How do others manage this? Any suggestions for alternative treatments? |
