terrible reaction

I coud hardly turn over in bed, and was wracked by a sudden on set of core muscle pain, following a short upper resp infection. I was diagnosed with Poly Myalgia Rheumatica. Just 7 hours after an initial dose of 30 mg of Prednisone, I was up cleaning my closet, and back to normal. My family notice that I look younger, have more energy, and just seem to be my “old self”. I feel great. It was like a miracle. I stayed at 30 mg for 3 weeks, and I am now weaning down by 5mg every 2 weeks. I am more hungry, and notice some edema in my ankles and feet. . . but only slight. This has been a miracle drug for me! Better than any Narcotic I have ever taken. Oh! and I haven’t had a Migraine since the start of Prednisone. before that I would take an injection or tablet of Imitrex at least once or twice a week.

Yes I am having terrible calf cramps, pain in hands/fingers/ shoulders and my upper back is on fire which comes and goes. Sleeplessness, my brain wont shut down. Luckily I have been prescribed Klonopin which makes it a litte more bearable, but I will have to wean off tha too when my 15 day taper is over. almost there 5 more days!
